This service is provided by a trained and experienced Certified and Accredited Play Therapist, Janine Nehrig. Janine has worked with children, adolescents and families in various settings since 2003, including in the HSE Midwest and on a voluntary basis in Limerick Social Services Council Ltd, Catherine McAuley School and Limerick's Children's Grief Project.
As a member of Play Therapy Ireland and the Psychological Society of Ireland, she adheres to strict codes of practice, including clinical supervision, continuing professional development and clinical governance, as well as to Irelandís child protection guidelines Children First. Janine is also a member of the Register of Play and Creative Arts Therapists, Accredited Register, accredited and regulated by the UK government Professional Standards Authority, aiming to improve standards and safety in therapy provision.

Janine is currently training with APAC on the PG Certificate in Supervision and on completion of same will be registered as a Clinical Supervisor on the Register of Play and Creative Arts Therapists, Accredited Register, regulated by the Public Standards Authority (equivalent to CORU which has not yet established public safety standards for therapeutic services).
Parent-Child Attachment Play An evidence-based 3-month parent programme that supports parents/ carers in developing skills to improve and strengthen positive and secure attachment relationships with their child/ ren.
Play Therapy (a form of Child Counselling/ Child Therapy/ Child Psychotherapy) and Creative Therapy (a form of Adult Counselling/ Adult Therapy/ Psychotherapy) and Clinical Supervision/ Creative Supervision is provided by a trained and experienced Accredited Play Therapist, Janine Nehrig. Janine is
